Lara will share her compelling story of setting up a business as a one-man band, aged 23, through to the sale of her 99% shareholding in 2008 for £20 million. Communicating key lessons learned along the way, Lara will also offer practical advice and tips to encourage any aspiring entrepreneur or established business owner. Lara has been described as real, unforgettable, inspiring, energising, straight talking, challenging and entertaining. She has never wanted to be anything except the best that she can be including in sharing her story of business success. She only speaks from experience, with humility and a palpable conviction and honesty about the mistakes she has made and the lessons she’s learned along the way. Lara is passionate about enterprise, continual improvement and maximising opportunities. She will impart key business recommendations, with the power to add significant value to any business if people apply the lessons she shares.

They will share their top tips and insights for SMEs and women-owned businesses about building relationships, about how to act in your interactions with multinational corporations, understanding procurement processes, and lifecycles of tenders/RFPs. Ticket Refunds

100% - if you cancel by Sunday 12th October 2014
50% - if you cancel by Sunday 19th October 2014
25% - if you cancel by Sunday 26th October 2014

Tickets cancelled on or after Monday 27th October 2014 will not be refunded but all tickets can be transferred to another person at any point. Please advise the organisers of who will be attending by 12pm on Friday 7th November 2014. Unfortunately we cannot refund the Eventbrite ticket processing/booking fee.
