New Application Process for Europe
WEConnect Europe’s certification process is changing slightly to streamline the certification process and give European business owners access to a global database of women business owners.
In the coming months, WEConnect will provide a login and password to the eCommunity to people who self-register and certify.
Filling out the online application is the first step.
Click on the link and fill in the application in less than 10 minutes.
After approval from WEConnect International, the company will become a part of the WEConnect network with the opportunity to network globally with women business owners and participate in select events focussed on providing activities and education to help provide access to corporate supply chains.
The process can take up to 15 days.
Certification and business readiness assessment process
The WEConnect Supplier Readiness Assessment offers applicants a customised on-site assessment of readiness to compete for large contracts based on supplier best practices and women owned business certification standards.
Businesses can use the Assessment to determine their capacity to supply goods and services to large buyers.
Applicants will fill out the online application.
Once complete, WEConnect will invoice the applicant and schedule the on-site assessment of their business.
Based on the Assessment, WEConnect offers access to the tools and training required to build capacity. Certified women’s business enterprises receive a WEConnect International Certificate and a Seal to enhance their brand and marketing strategy and a profile on a database searchable by corporate and WBE buyers.
The process takes up to 90 days from the date the application is complete and the invoice is paid.
