Today’s customers are more demanding and discerning. They expect relevant messages and a satisfactory customer experience. They know what they want and are not afraid to look. They are also quite fluent in using various channels to get information and move through the “purchasing decision process.”

As marketers, we look at the customer journey and the different types of customers, and then group them in to segments using common traits, characteristics, loyalties and purchasing behaviours. Grouping customers into segments enables brands to plan more effectively and to focus tailored marketing communications to specific types of customers across channels.

In this webinar, we will look at the benefits segmentation can bring to both the business and to the overall customer experience and discuss how we can map out the customer journey, profile and segment clients.

Noreen Cesareo MA BA, is an experienced international specialist in brand, marketing and communications. She has over 30 years’ experience working with global brands and businesses across industries, including financial, travel and professional services.

In 2007, she set up Market Accents, a WEConnect International certified women's business. enterprise. A Masters in Marketing, she channelled her knowledge and experience to provide big company expertise to businesses. Together with her team, Noreen works with companies to help them achieve sustainable growth using smart marketing strategies and effective integrated communications. Market Accents services also include brand creation, the development and implementation of marketing and communication programmes as well as striking content and relevant PR.

Noreen is passionate about new technologies, empowering women in enterprise, collaboration and communities and is involved in a number of international initiatives. She also speaks a number of languages.

She is actively involved as an NED on a number of boards and working groups. These include: a trustee on the Commonwealth Girls Education Fund (CGEF); a Director of The Malta Business Network; an Ambassador for Pink Shoe and a TeamEB Lead for Marketing and Exports. TeamEB is building the first UK Economic Blueprint for SMEs and women-owned businesses. She also sites on the All Parliamentary Party Group (AAPG) for Women and Enterprise where she is a lead in the International Trade and Connections sub-group.
