Gibbs Hybrid Workforce Solutions, a WEConnect International certified women-owned business and their CEO, Farida Gibbs, have been nominated in two categories for the UK’s Largest Diversity Awards.

Gibbs Hybrid Workforce Solutions has been nominated in the Diverse Company of the Year category and CEO Farida Gibbs has been nominated in the Entrepreneur of Excellence category at The National Diversity Awards 2017.

Farida Gibbs said of the two nominations:

“I am truly delighted, extremely proud and very honoured to be nominated in two categories for these vital and prestigious awards. I absolutely believe everyone should have a chance to succeed – no matter their background. Ever since starting the business over a decade ago, diversity and people has been at the heart of everything we do – indeed, we are now the 6th largest global diversity company and our aim is that the composition of our workforce and that of our clients should reflect the larger community. At Gibbs we seem to attract diverse talent naturally and I believe this is because it starts from the top and cascades unsurprisingly to others. We have grown organically and attracted people to work for us from all walks of life and I am immensely proud of this.”

Microsoft and Direct Line are Headline sponsors of the UK’s largest diversity awards, attracting a growing list of supporters including Sir Lenny Henry, Graham Norton and Katie Piper.

The Breath-taking Liverpool Anglican Cathedral will play host to this year’s awards, to be held on the 8th September. Britain’s most inspirational and selfless people will come together to honour the rich tapestry of our nation, recognising individuals and groups from grass roots communities.
